Mansour Rahimi, Ph.D.
Mansour Rahimi, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Southern California. Dr. Rahimi is renowned for his expertise in hierarchical task modeling and computer assisted demand response as related to transit systems. Along with his many publications in this field, Dr. Rahimi is also a Principal Investigator for a National Center for Metropolitan Transportation Research funded project. Dr. Rahimi bridges the chasm between computers and users with methodologies that identify the human factors involved in operations. Awarded the Faculty Fellow in Industrial Ecology from the AT&T Research Foundation, Dr. Rahimi is well known for his research capabilities. Dr. Rahimi holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech, and a M.S. and B.S. Degrees in Industrial Engineering from West Virginia University.
